ANCC Opens Registration: The 2024 National Magnet Conference® and Pathway to Excellence Conference® comes to New Orleans

SILVER SPRING, MD – Today, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) announced that registration is open for the ANCC National Magnet Conference® and the ANCC Pathway to Excellence Conference® in New Orleans, Louisiana at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center from Oct. 30 - Nov. 1. Annually, this leading nursing conference convenes thousands of attendees from across the globe to showcase the rigor of contemporary nursing practice, and recognize nurses, health care systems and hospitals for high-quality nursing.
Attendees experience an immersive setting that builds the next generation of nurses and celebrates nursing excellence in leadership, innovation, and best practices, which is critical to meet the increasing demand for complex health care services.

The ANCC National Magnet Conference® and ANCC Pathway to Excellence Conference® offers dynamic and inspiring keynote speakers and a variety of educational sessions on a range of timely topics, such as health equity, use of artificial intelligence, and health care staffing, where nurses can receive practical guidance and resources. It also boasts a bustling exhibit hall, which houses the latest in health tech and nurse-led innovations, a range of health care related products, and meeting spaces to network. Additionally, in every host city ANCC seeks to engage the community and give back by partnering with local health systems and organizations as well as with local charities. A portion of these funds raised by the American Nurses Foundation goes to support nurse credentialing research. Past philanthropic endeavors initiated by ANCC have raised more than $50,000 to support charities in conference host cities. Locally, five Magnet® -recognized Louisiana health systems positively impact the surrounding communities by providing the very best in safe and culturally relevant care to diverse patient populations.
Also held in conjunction with this conference is the ANCC Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) Summit and the annual ANA Enterprise Research Symposium on October 28 – 29, which directly precedes the ANCC National Magnet Conference® and ANCC Pathway to Excellence Conference®. The NCPD Summit theme this year is “Leading Learning: A Purpose-Driven Career.”
The summit provides nurses with opportunities to explore new ways of delivering care, discover a renewed passion for learning, and renew their excitement about accreditation and practicing at the top of their license. The ANA Enterprise Research Symposium’s theme is “Elevating Nursing Through Innovation and Research” and is an interactive experience designed for nurse leaders and nurses who are active in practice-based research.
