Washington Policy Fellowship
The American Nurses Foundation, the philanthropic entity of ANA Enterprise, invests in all aspects of nursing. By funding programs that support the profession, the Foundation empowers nurses of all specialties to use their expertise to transform health care and improve patient lives.
In 2015, the Foundation announced a plan to fund a Washington-based fellowship, focused on getting nurses a seat at the highest policymaking tables. By maximizing the participation of nurses on Capitol Hill committees, the Foundation hopes to engage more nurses to realize the impact that policy activism can have – and the part that every nurse can play.
The future is in our hands. It’s critical that we ensure our voices are part of every health care policy discussion. The Fellowship Fund will help enable that with the support of nurses.
