Overview
Nurses face dynamic challenges every day. The design thinking model can provide new mindsets, skills, and behaviors that create champion problem solvers. This course covers the five spaces of design thinking and provides an easy storytelling model to share your design thinking experience.

Presented By
Karen Tilstra, PhD
Karen holds a PhD in Innovation and Leadership and is a licensed educational psychologist. Over the past five years, Karen has co-founded several innovation labs, including the award-winning Florida Hospital Innovation Lab (FHIL) in Orlando as well as the Orlando Magic Innovation Lab. She is currently helping Pioneers International develop an innovation program. She has designed & facilitated over three hundred design thinking projects, which includes work with multiple top Fortune 500 companies. She has taught design thinking at the university level as well as presented her vast knowledge of the subject to both national and international audiences.
