The American Nurses Foundation and the American Nurses Association launched the Pulse on the Nation's Nurses Survey Series at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. All data gathered will be used to inform decisions about how to best support nurses during this public health crisis and beyond.

This dashboard can be used to view the results of the Initial COVID-19 Survey, which was shared by the ANA, and the collected responses from March 20 to April 10, 2020. At the top of the page, you can view the results for the United States as a whole or select a specific state to view. To the left of the state selection menu, the count of responses will change according to the selection. The three buttons to the right of the state selection menu allow you to navigate between survey sections and see the results of different questions related to each of the button topics. Click a button to view the questions corresponding to that topic. The button turns red to indicate that it is the active selection. Within the graphs, you can hover over the colored areas to see the full response option as well as the data value associated with it.
